Molly Margaret Rockwell

 Molly Margaret Rockwell, 19 died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA after a single - vehicle car accident in Derry, NH.

She was born at Newton Wellesley Hospital on November 30, 2000, the daughter of William and Susan (Weed) Rockwell.

Molly grew up in Derry but spent summers around extended family at Bear Island on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH.   She was a lover of nature, which led to her to discover a great talent for photography. 

Molly is a 2019 graduate of Pinkerton Academy.  In the year since graduation, she enjoyed traveling and exploring new photo ops.  Whether it be a nature scene, the haunting beauty of an abandoned building or tag art/graffiti, her dream was to make a career of her talent.  You need only look at her portfolio on Facebook or Instagram to realize what a gift she had.

Molly leaves behind her parents Susan and Bill Rockwell of Avon Park FL, (formerly of Derry NH), her older sister Haley Rockwell of Derry NH and her loving boyfriend Justin Stockwell, also of Derry NH.  Her Godparents: Nancy Marmo Cianfrini of Spring, TX and Thomas Rockwell of Leominster, MA mourn her loss along with many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Molly was predeceased by her grandparents; John & Virginia Weed of Reading MA and William Sr & Margaret Rockwell of Somerville, MA.

Molly touched many lives with her sincere and empathetic nature.  In her last Instagram post, molly insightfully noted “I’m thankful for what I have and I want you all to learn to enjoy the small things in life,  Live it in the moment until it’s gone, because sometimes it’ll be gone real fast.”

Molly’s ashes will be dedicated privately at Lake Winnipesaukee in summer 2021.  There she will be in the good company of welcoming family that has gone before in the place that she loved the most!
