Linda L Cormier

Linda Louise Cormier, 75 of Westborough died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

She was born in Waltham, MA, the daughter of Canadian immigrants, Henry and Mary (Arsenault) Cormier. She graduated from Waltham High School Class of ‘64.  After high school, Linda attended business school.

Linda took pride in being a stay-at-home mom for many years.  Later she worked as a secretary for both Digital and EMC before retiring. 

Linda is survived by her 2 sons, Bobby Domings and his wife Sahara of AZ, Jim Domings of OR; 2 daughters, Amy Gogan and her husband Jeff of Marlborough, Sarah Domings of Westborough; 6 grandchildren, Corey, Cam, Jake, Shae, Emily and Matt; a sister, Deanna Trotta and her husband Chris of Billerica and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Leona Devlin and 2 brothers, Jerry Cormier and Norman Cormier.

Linda loved traveling to New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Canada, where her family was from.  She was very proud of her heritage and spent many hours researching the genealogy of her family.  She was an avid reader and storyteller. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in the family lot at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham MA.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 21, from 5-7 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to,  Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org
