Alan Charbonneau Obituary

Alan J. Charbonneau, 67, died Saturday February 13, 2021 after an illness.  He was the husband of 32 years of Donna (Colacchio) Charbonneau of Marlborough.  He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Philip and Stasia (Poltorak) Charbonneau and lived in Marlborough for 40 years.

     Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons; Adam Charbonneau and his wife Ariel of N. Grafton, Jason Charbonneau of Marlborough, four brothers, Philip, Kenneth, Ronald and Robert Charbonneau, two sisters; Janice and Joanne Charbonneau and many nieces and nephews. 

       Alan was an avid Harley Davidson rider.  He, along with his friends and family, enjoyed frequent rides to the White Mountains.  Alan adored annual camping trips with his wife and sons to the coast of Maine.  A faithful fan of Rock n’ Roll music his favorite artists included the Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Led Zeppelin and many more.  Alan’s hobbies included bird watching, fishing and admiring sunny days in the company of his beloved Shelties, Eden & Nova.  

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alan’s memory to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (www.stopsarcoidosis.org).

    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all funeral arrangements will be private, under the direction of the Short & Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com) of Marlborough.
