Sylvia Jahns, 55, of Clinton and formerly Marlborough, passed away March 17, 2018 at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester. Born in East Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of Anna (Jahns) Gaskill of Sun City, Arizona and the late Lawrence Gaskill.
Besides her mother, Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Madison Diamond, and Madison’s father, John Diamond, both of Marlborough; and two siblings, John Haralampidis of Portland, OR and Raphaela Gaskill of Sun City, Arizona.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24th from 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. at the William R. Short & Son Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St. Marlborough (www.shortfuneral.com.) Donations in her memory may be made to UMass Memorial Medical Cancer Center at Marlborough Hospital, 157 Union St. Marlborough, MA 01752.
