Ruth A. (Gorman) Devoe

Ruth A. (Gorman) Devoe, 57 of Westborough and formerly of Marlborough, died on May 23, 2021 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA.

Ruth was born on May 23, 1964, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Mary T. (Hinckley) Gorman.

She graduated from Assabet Valley Vocational High School, Class of ’82. She was employed by EMC working in sales until her retirement in 2009.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond V. Devoe in 2019.

Ruth is survived by her 3 sisters, Grace Wilson of Hudson, Mary Coles and her husband Paul of Marlborough, Nancy Bizzotto and her husband John of Fitchburg; 2 brothers, Robert Gorman Jr and his wife Patty of Southborough, Arthur Gorman and his wife Linda of Marlborough; 2 sisters-in laws, Donna Gorman of Hudson and Leslie Gorman of Westborough and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers, John Gorman in 2020 and Richard Gorman in 2016 and a  brother-in-law Eric Wilson 2016.

Ruth enjoyed doing charity work, especially for the Marlborough Eagle’s, she loved camping and going on motorcycle rides. She was a kind and very generous person, always thinking of others before herself.

A Private Graveside Service will be held in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
