Patrick Ryan

      It is with great sadness that we announce that Patrick M. Ryan (Paddi) born March 8,1971 succumbed to liver disease and left this earth to join his parents Edward & Joan Ryan formerly of Marlborough on November 30, 2021. Patrick grew up in Marlborough and spent his adult life between Joshua Tree California and many parts of Massachusetts. Patrick fought many battles in life between addiction & mental illness. Through the years Patrick helped countless people in the fellowships of AA/NA and young people in recovery. Though he often found it hard to help himself he never gave up on helping others, his love for others was incredible, his ability to bring humor to everyone around him will forever be missed.

     Patrick is survived by many who loved him, his brother Edward Ryan & wife Cheryl of California, Linda Leatham (Ryan) & her husband Joseph of Marlborough Massachusetts, sister Kathleen Houde (Ryan) and her husband Tony of Marlborough Massachusetts & brother Thomas Ryan and his wife Laura of Orlando Florida. Patrick also leaves behind 3 sons Jake Ryan, Patrick Ryan JR & Nathan Ryan all of Massachusetts.

     Patrick is also survived by many nieces and nephews Jason Ryan, Joseph Leatham JR Jared Houde, Viktor Ryan, Mitchell Ryan, Jamie Leatham, Mckenna Ryan, Thomas Ryan, John Leatham and Kayla Houde as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Paddi will be missed by all. We find comfort knowing he’s back with his mom & dad and knowing they are probably sharing some great laughs as we mourn.

     At Patrick’s wishes services will be private and held at a later date. We encourage everyone to be like Paddi when someone is down, help them up, when a new comer enters the fellowship make sure they know they are welcome and remind them O.D.A.A.T. find laughter in every situation & most of all know that no battle has to be fought alone.
