Mary G. (Pfeifer) Pellegrino

Mary G. Pellegrino, 78 of Framingham, died at her home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

She was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Albert B. and Margaret L. (MacDonald) Pfeifer. She graduated from Newton High School, Class of ’62.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Arthur W. Pellegrino.

Mary is survived by her 2 daughters, Nancy J. Sandwell and her husband Robert of Framingham, Mary Pollock and her husband Lew of Franklin; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother, Edward M. Pfeifer of Cape Cod and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 6 siblings, Albert B. Pfeifer, Jr., John F. Pfeifer, Richard P. Pfeifer, Sr., Donald J. Pfeifer, Alice B. McKinney and Margaret A. Pfeifer.

She also leaves her 2 cats, Sandie & Scottie, who she loved and adored and were with her when she passed. Her wish was for them to be cared for and the family will do what is in their best interest.

Mary enjoyed being with family and friends and enjoyed many activities throughout her life. One of those being karaoke with her late husband, Arthur and her daughter, Nancy. Of all the things in the world, Mary wanted to be remembered for the love for her family. Family was always first no matter what else was going on in her life. Mary would want her family and friends to take a moment and remember time spent with her and how happy she was.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, from 9-10 a.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main Street, Marlborough, MA. A service will follow at 10 a.m. also in the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA.
