Louise A. (Flaherty) Sullivan, 80, died Wednesday June 9, 2021 after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of 30 years of the late Warren Sullivan who died in 1995. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late John and Louise Flaherty, and lived in the Boston area until moving to Marlborough in 1972.
Mrs. Sullivan graduated form Hyde Park High School class of 1958. She worked over 40 years as an office manager for many companies including, Dunn & Bradstreet, Wentworth Institute, Raytheon in Sudbury and Wayside Marketing.
Louise’s greatest love was her children and grandchildren. She was also very grateful for her wonderful friends and the great fun and memories she had with them, particularly bowling and swimming.
She is survived by a son Timothy Sullivan of Auburn, a daughter Lynda Sullivan of Gardner, three grandchildren, Brett and Brooke Sullivan and John Blais, a brother Thomas Flaherty of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four siblings; Mary Donovan, John Morrisey, Barbara Martell and Arthur Morrissey.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 at Saint Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St. Marlborough. Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Short&Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
