Jeanne M (Thomas) Miles

Jeanne M. Miles 78 of Marlborough died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

Jeanne was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Paul and Barbara (Hogan) Thomas. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years, most recently at MCI-Shirley retiring in 2010.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Michael Ladrie and his wife Tina of Shrewsbury, 2 granddaughters, Alanna and Maria, her niece Meredith, cousins James and Marge Hogan and many friends.

She was predeceased by her son Paul Ladrie in 2020, her sister Patricia Peterson, her brother William Thomas and a nephew Timothy Peterson.

Jeanne was dedicated to her work as an LPN, especially during her years at Braemoor Nursing home where she cherished her time with her patients and many coworkers who became like family. She was an avid animal lover, but her true joy was time spent with her granddaughters and watching them grow.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 6-8pm in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St. Marlborough, MA.

Burial will be private at a later date.
