Jacqueline E. (Crocker) Murray

Jacqueline E. (Crocker) Murray, 95, died Saturday January 8  after a period of failing health.  She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Murray who died in 2000.  They were married for 51 years.  She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late William H. and Lydia(Diamond) Crocker and grew up in Jamaica Plain. She moved to Framingham in 1954.  She relocated to the Meadows in Marlborough in 2004, and to assisted living at New Horizons in Marlborough in 2015. 

She is survived by a daughter Denise Kofron and her husband, Edward of Holliston,  and a son Scott Murray of Williamsburg VA, five grandchildren; Michael Kofron, Stephanie Kofron Smith, Megan Murray Williams, Daniel Murray, and Constance Murray Nolan,  and six great grandchildren; Miles and Lucy Kofron, Mary and Jude Williams, and Zoe and Kyra Murray.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday January 15 at 11:00 a.m. in Rural Cemetery in Southborough.  Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:30 am in the Short and Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com), 95 West Main Street Marlborough.

In lieu of flowers. please donate to the Hopkinton Public Library, 13 Main Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748 in her name to fund the purchase of mystery books for all ages.
