Flavilla P. (Bragdon) Dumais

Flavilla P. (Bragdon) Dumais passed away Saturday January 23, 2021 after a brief illness.  She was born in Ashland Maine, daughter of Randolph and Sophie (Brasslett) Dumais on April 1, 1937.

Flavilla was known as Sis or Fay to her friends and family. She was Mom to most because of her overwhelming love for everyone.

Not only spending time with her family and friends, proudly telling stories to everyone about her Grandchildren, she also enjoyed her time harvesting vegetables in her garden and planting flowers. She also loved looking for bright blue butterflies.

She raised her six children alone, plus the neighborhood kids that she loved and provided a safe and secure place to call home.  She worked tirelessly for her family, first at New System Laundry in Marlborough, Braemore Nursing Home, and then Digital until retirement.

Flavilla leaves her beloved family, daughter Diane Johnson, (Gene), three sons, Gerald (Donna), Ronald (Amy) and Willard.  She was predeceased by her daughter Geraldine and her son Gary (Tracy). 

She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by her four brothers, Paul, Maynard, Truman, and Basil, and her two sisters Phyliss and Anna. 

Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held in the Spring.
