Alan P. Chenell
Obituary
Alan P. Chenell, 82, of Marlborough and formerly of Boston and Toronto, Ontario, passed away February 12, 2023. Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Elsie (McInnis) and Harold Chenell. He was the husband of Lillian (LeBlanc) Chenell.
Alan began is career in investments and later worked in the moving business, where he retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield. He was an avid sports fan.
Besides his wife, Alan is survived by his children, Adam Chenell of Colorado and Sharon Cupo of Marlborough; his brother, Bryon Chenell and his wife, Diane of Colorado; his sister, Mary Smith and her husband, Gregory of Pennsylvania. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Harold and Radley Chenell and Marion White.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church of Marlborough.
