William “Bill” Nolan of Marlborough passed away peacefully on May 8, 2018.
Born and raised in the South End of Boston, he was the son of Leo and Esther Nolan. He was a graduate of Boston Technical High School, Northeastern University, and Fitchburg State College. He worked for the Raytheon company for 38 years. For the past 50 years he has resided in MetroWest Boston. He is survived by his children, John W. Nolan and his partner, Toshiomi Araki, David A. Nolan and his wife, Patricia, and Anne Marie Bumpus and her husband, Keith. He is the grandfather of Evan and Samuel Bumpus and Liam and Kameron Nolan. He was predeceased by his brothers Leo, Thomas, and James and is survived by his brother, Joseph and his sister, Marie. He is also survived by ten nephews and five nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Monday June 11, 2018 at 10:45 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Connery Avenue in Bourne, MA.
