Timothy J Blair

Timothy J. "TJ" Blair, 59, of Bellingham died Monday Feb. 13, after a short period of failing health.   He was the husband of Julia (Homsey) Blair to whom he was married for 29 years.   He was born in Springfield MA, the son of Norine (Cahillane) Blair and the late Clifford Blair and lived in Bellingham for the last 29 years after living much of his life in Marlborough.  
    Tim was a "jack of all trades", a trait he shared with his late father. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and all Boston and New England sports teams, especially the Patriots.  Tim enjoyed spending time with lifelong childhood friends and cherished his immediate and extended family, including his beloved Jack Russell terrier, Ruby.  
    Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons; Timothy John "TJ" Blair Jr. of Bellingham, Nicholas John Blair of Bellingham, three brothers; James Blair and his wife Renay of Marlborough, Richard Blair and his wife Denise of Marlborough, Garrett Blair of Marlborough, one sister Maureen King of Marlborough, his mother in law Nora Homsey of Westwood and his father in law the late John Homsey, two brothers in law; John Homsey Jr. of Georgia and his wife Karen,  Robert Homsey of Natick and his wife Allison and a sister in law AnnMarie Homsey of Westwood.  
    His funeral will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St. Marlborough.   Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough.  Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough.  
    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory can be made designated to the New Building Project of Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect St. Milford MA 01757.
