Marlborough
Theodore Souris, 87, died Tuesday March 27 after a short period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Johanna (Beck) Souris who died in 2013. They were married for 48 years. He was born in the Bronx, New York, the son of the late Carmela Pinto and Theodore Souris, and lived in Marlborough for 20 years.
Mr. Souris was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War who was honorably discharged and received the Medal of Good Conduct. He worked for National Cash Register company for many years and later became a teacher in the New York City public school system.
He is survived by two sons, Theodor Huber and Christopher Souris of Marlborough, two grandchildren, a niece Louise King of Holliston, a nephew Anthony Deltuva of East Meadow, New York and their families.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St. Marlborough. Burial will take place on Thursday in Saint Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale New York.
