Robert F. "Bobby" D'Amico, 92, died Tuesday October 23, 2018 after a brief period of failing health. He was born in Marlborough, the son of the late Frank and Hellen (Clark) D'Amico and also lived in Florida for many years before moving back to the area, living in Bolton for the past few years.
Mr. D'Amico was a United States Coast Guard Veteran of WWII and later worked as a custodian for the New England Regional Primate Research Center for over 30 years.
Bobby was a longtime fan of professional boxing as well as an avid fan of all New England sports teams, particularly the Patriots and the Red Sox.
He is survived by a brother James D'Amico of Chester VT, a sister in law Barbara D'Amico of Bolton, two nephews; Jeffrey D'Amico of Berlin and Mark D'Amico of Melbourne Fla., three nieces; Janine Garbacz of Jacksonville Fla., Lisa Butland of Berlin and Laurie Perault of Hudson, his cousin and devoted caretaker Ellen Caless of Bolton. He was predeceased by two brothers; Anthony and Richard D'Amico
A private family funeral is scheduled for a later date.
