MaryLou K Shelales

MaryLou K. Shelales, 78, of Marlborough, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Lucas) and Vincent Shelales.

Upon her retirement, MaryLou had worked in the Payroll Department for the City of Marlborough. She took pleasure in singing and was a member of the Sweet Adelines. She also enjoyed RV Camping and loved to make quilts.

MaryLou is survived by her daughter, Krysta Koppenal-Lynch of Marlborough, her brother, Warren Shelales and his wife Linda of Bolton, her former husband, Robert Koppenal of West Boylston; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Nathan,  and her dog, Tinkerbell.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Church in Marlborough, Congregational, 37 High St, Marlborough. on Monday, September 11th at 10:00a.m. Services are under the direction of the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Baypath Humane Society, 500 Legacy Farms North, Hopkinton, MA 01748 or to Buddy Dog Humane Society, 151 Boston Post Rd. Sudbury, MA 01776.
