Eva M. (Brodeur) Bowen, 98, died Tuesday April 24 after a long period of failing health.  She was the wife of the late Grady Bowen who died in 1985.  She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Victor Brodeur and lived here all of her life.

Mrs. Bowen worked many years at many of the local shoe companies.  She had a love of crocheting.

She is survived by two sons: Grady Bowen and his wife Gail of Marlborough, John Bowen of Fitchburg, a former daughter in law Mindy Bowen and her daughter Chelsea of Marlborough, a grandson Jared Bowen of Fitchburg and many nieces and nephews.
