Constance A. (Higgins) Kearney, 89, died Sunday October 29, 2017. She was married to her high school sweetheart, the late Lawrence I. Kearney, for 50 years. She was born in Mars Hill ME, the daughter of the late Milford P. and Florence R. (McCrum) Higgins and lived in Hudson since 1996.
Mrs. Kearney worked as an electronics tester for the Fenwal Corp. for twenty six years retiring in 1991. She was always very proud of her husband and the many others who served our country in WWII.
She is survived by one son, Terence Kearney of Hudson, one sister Rae Lint of CT, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Lawrence I. Kearney Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. An hour of visitation at the funeral home will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m., prior to the service.
