Blanche S. (Bouchard) Vincent, 90, died Saturday April 13 after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Vincent Jr. who died in 2007 They were married for 61 years. She was born in New Bedford MA, the daughter of the late Paul and Eva (Durosher) Bouchard and lived in many places including New Bedford, Florida, Connecticut and Marlborough. She was predeceased by her son William of Manchester, CT.
Mrs. Vincent was a homemaker, nurses aide and the a private secretary to a vice president at Travelers Insurance Co. She was involved as a den mother and girl scout leader. She is best known for her love of needlepoint and crochet. She loved visiting with her family and seeing her great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons; Ronald Vincent and his wife Nancy of Colchester CT, Timothy Vincent and his wife Roberta of Pittsburgh PA, one daughter Joanne Honer and her husband, Kenneth of Marlborough, four granddaughters, Rebekah Honer of Marlborough, Rachel Johnson and her husband Richard of Worcester, Natasha Smith and her husband Nathan of Pittsburgh PA, Theresa Smith and her husband Michael of Milford CT and seven great grandchildren; Bailey, Kyle, Vincent, Jodi, Garrett, RJ, and Anthony and many nieces and nephews. Also lifelong friend Patrick Sanzo and his wife Michelle and their two sons, Zeb and Nathan.
Family funeral arrangements will be held at a later date.
