I too had my Aviation career with Aer Lingus - starting in Ireland in 1962 and finding my way to Boston in 1969 for 7 years before moving to New York. Fintan and I got to know each other during those 7 Boston years and we joked about supposedly getting each others' phone calls as well as complaints which were always answered by " it wasn't me - it was your man - the other Moore "

We had many a laugh and many stories then and later and while I am sad to hear of his passing, I am sure his family must be as proud of him and his life, as I am for knowing him.

May he rest in peace - Fintan : Slan Leat agus go neirigh an bothar leat.

I worked in sales/Chicago for Aer Lingus and always looked forward to meeting Fintan at the various meetings. He was always good for a joke or two and I truly did enjoy his company. RIP, Fintan....Jim Burke
